Emma Smith is a science and health journalist.

Smith is currently a graduate student at New York University's Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program (NYU SHERP). Previously, she's written for Long COVID Connection and developed content on vaccine access and health equity for Generation Justice's social media platforms. She is a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists.

Smith holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Montana School of Journalism (Class of 2021) and a certificate in Digital Marketing and Google Analytics from the University of Oregon.
